¡Viva la Opera! del compositor italiano Gaetano Donizetti, es una comedia satírica de corte operístico, interpretada por la compañía Ópera Cómica de Madrid, en los Jardines Sabatini.

Los ensayos de la ópera Rómulo y Escilia representan el fondo de una trama cómica, que ironiza sobre los acuerdos y desacuerdos de los actores que ensayan, con la dirección del espectáculo y los empresarios que la financian. Una “prima donna”, la trepa y buscona, celos y la dimisión del primer tenor de la obra, generan todo tipo de enredos y situaciones cómicas que divertirán a los espectadores.

Y para una tarde redonda, puedes pasarte por la Terraza Jardines Sabatini del Aparto Suites Jardines Sabatini, para tomar un mojito, un gin-tonic o picar algo con unas estupendas vistas al Palacio Real. ¡Ojo! Sólo se accede con reserva, llamando al 91 542 59 00.

 Long live Opera! at the Sabatini Gardens

¡Viva la Opera! (Long live Opera!) by the Italian compositor Gaetano Donizetti, is a satirical comedy with an operatic touch that ridicules actors, directors and businessmen, throughout the storyline of the rehearsals of the classic opera Rómulo and Escilia. The rehearsal reveals the characters, partly inherited from the traditional Commedia dell'Arte: the goddess-like "prima donna", her husband "manager" and bodyguard, the soprano first-timer anxious for the limelight and seeking success, the businessman, the director and the inevitable "mamma" of the soprano. Quarrels, jealousy and blunders lead the first tenor to quit, within comical situations that surely will make their public laugh and have fun.

And, for a great evening you can also have a nice mojito, a gin-tonic or nibble at the Aparto Suites Jardines Sabatini, a rooftop terrace with privileged views over the Royal Palace and its beautiful gardens. Sunsets there are stunning! Entrance only under reservation, calling here: 91 542 59 00.
