Los restaurantes Lateral se visten de arte | Lateral restaurants dress up with art

Los restaurantes Lateral, con el apoyo de Mahou, continúan con su proyecto artístico ArteLateral iniciado en 2012, apostando por artistas emergentes y ya consagrados mediante el mecenazgo. ArteLateral ha confiado las paredes de sus restaurantes, a varios creadores que, durante 3 meses expondrán cada uno, alternativamente, sus obras de forma exclusiva o conjunta, en los restaurantes del grupo. Uno de los objetivos de esta iniciativa es sacar el arte de sus circuitos tradicionales (galerías, ferias, etc.) e introducirlo en lo cotidiano, produciendo así una experiencia estética diferente para el público. 

Además de fotografía y pintura, en esta edición se incluyen modalidades como dibujo, vídeo, ilustración o pintura mural, que podremos admirar a la vez que se disfrutamos de los pinchos, cócteles y tapas, que conforman la experiencia gastronómica de Lateral.

Las exposiciones que habrá próximamente son:

• Castellana 42: Varios artistas.
• Castellana 89: Eduardo Marco.
• Arturo Soria: Alfredo Santos.
• Santa Ana: Javier Cruz y Rocío Cañero
• Velázquez: Mar García Albert
• Fuencarral: Anthony Prévost y Fayer Cross.

Las obras expuestas están a la venta, y el importe de las mismas irá íntegramente destinado al autor de la obra adquirida.

Lateral restaurants dress up with art

Lateral restaurants, with the support of Mahou, continue with its artistic project ArteLateral started in 2012, betting on emerging and already established artists through sponsorship. ArteLateral has entrusted its restaurants´ walls to several creators that will expose their works, alternately, during 3 months. One of the objectives of this initiative is take the art out of its traditional circuits (galleries, fairs, etc.) and insert it into everyday life, thus producing a different aesthetic experience for the public.

 In addition to photography and painting, this edition includes modalities like drawing, video, illustration, or mural painting, which we can admire while we enjoy pinchos, cocktails and tapas that make up the gastronomic experience of Lateral.

The current exhibitions are:
